VC Growth & Community Lead

In the crowded European venture landscape, Merantix Capital needs to stand out as the absolute premier partner for AI founders. Based full-time in Berlin, this role is a highly entrepreneurial mandate to capture the attention of the ecosystem, translate complex AI narratives into compelling content, and establish our brand as the default choice for early-stage AI builders.

You will own the complete perception, brand positioning, and ecosystem engagement strategy for Merantix Capital across all public channels.

• Define and execute the overall brand positioning and narrative design to sharpen our voice in the European AI landscape.
• Produce and publish highly opinionated, sharp written content in both English and German to establish thought leadership.
• Build and nurture our community and ecosystem engagement strategy, turning passive followers into active advocates.
• Design and run end-to-end event management and specialized event programs that gather top-tier AI founders, operators, and investors.
• Manage PR, external communications, and marketing channels with high autonomy and rapid feedback loops.

• Berlin-based ecosystem builder with a proven track record of growing a community, audience, or brand from scratch.
• Former founder, early operator, or content creator who has successfully scaled distribution or audience.
• Bilingual communicator who writes and speaks German (minimum C1-level) and English with exceptional speed and precision.
• AI and tech native with a genuine passion for emerging technologies and European startup ecosystems.
• Execution-focused operator who thrives under a partner-led, high-autonomy, and low-ego culture.
