We are a high-momentum Munich-based AI software startup pairing deliberate architecture with rapid, AI-assisted execution. As a senior full-stack engineer, you'll join a collaborative, flat engineering group building core features alongside the CTO and experienced peers.

We are scaling our engineering team past 6+ developers and need an experienced, autonomous full-stack builder to work alongside our CTO and senior developers on heavy execution. Your balance of rapid prototyping and rigorous architectural discipline (Arc42, DDD, TDD/BDD) ensures we move fast without sacrificing long-term code quality. In our flat structure, your contributions directly accelerate platform velocity while lifting team craft across the board.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
Full-stack feature delivery, clean domain modeling, and hands-on technical contributions across our core platform.
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end full-stack features using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate closely with the CTO and senior developers on architecture, system design, and heavy execution.
- Apply rigorous engineering standards including TDD/BDD, Arc42 architectural documentation, and Domain-Driven Design.
- Leverage AI-agent pairing workflows and modern CI/CD automation on Azure and Kubernetes to maximize development velocity.
- Coach and support junior engineers through active code reviews, pairing, and shared engineering standards.
- Drive collaborative in-person problem-solving and rapid prototyping from our Munich office.
The first 90 days
What success looks like
Month 1
Ramp up on our product domain, understand the Arc42 architecture, and deliver your first production-ready code contributions.
Month 2–3
Ship end-to-end features, tackle complex tasks alongside the CTO and senior peers, and introduce constructive process or tooling improvements across the stack.
By end of Q1
Operate as an autonomous senior contributor and trusted peer in the Munich office who collaborates closely with the team and shares new techniques or practices.

Who this is a fit for
- ~7+ years of software engineering experience delivering robust, production-grade applications.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong practitioner of TDD, BDD, and structured domain modeling (Arc42/DDD).
- Dedicated software craftsman with personal coding projects or open-source repositories to show.
- Comfortable collaborating closely as a peer and mentoring junior developers in a flat team.
- Based in Munich (or relocating) for regular in-office collaboration.
