Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

We are expanding our Data & Analytics practice to help organizations turn complex data challenges into robust, scalable production platforms. As our technical footprint grows, we need senior engineers who can bridge the gap between deep cloud engineering and strategic client delivery. Without you, critical data architecture and AI workflows can't scale to meet client demand.

Full technical ownership of modern analytics engineering, cloud architecture, and data pipelines across client engagements.

• Architect and deploy scalable production data warehouse and cloud infrastructure
• Build robust data transformation workflows and pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt
• Implement and optimize AI/ML workflows and cross-system data integrations
• Establish modern analytics engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control standards
• Interface directly with client stakeholders to explain technical trade-offs and turn business needs into production systems

• 5+ years building and maintaining production data warehouses and cloud infrastructure
• Advanced practitioner in SQL, Python, and dbt transformation workflows
• Proven track record in client-facing roles explaining complex technical trade-offs
• Strong background in data modeling, CI/CD, and modern analytics engineering
• Business fluent in German (C1+) with professional working proficiency in English
• Pragmatic engineer with a degree in CS or equivalent practical experience

Hybrid setup with two required in-office days per week in Berlin for close collaboration, with the rest remote. High technical ownership and autonomy where individual Senior Data Engineers make key architectural and technical decisions directly on their client projects. The team values pragmatic delivery, sound engineering practices, and direct accountability without unnecessary red tape.
