Product Engineer (m/f/d)
We are building the AI operating system for Autonomous Enterprise IT. Build on our own battle-tested LLM harness, ship AI-native product to Fortune 500 companies, and own features end to end.
Overview
Why this role matters
At the company, we are turning every business idea into technology impact with AI agents for every tech demand. Across the world's largest companies, IT leaders spend their days manually governing application portfolios with spreadsheets and disconnected tools—resulting in bloated backlogs, redundant software, and uncontrolled spend. The company changes this fundamentally with a system that understands enterprise landscapes bottom-up and reasons at machine scale, already trusted by giants like Siemens Healthineers, REWE, and Grünenthal.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
You will own the lifecycle of major features from initial user discovery calls to production deployment and monitoring.
- Design and deploy complex, multi-agent workflows and LLM evaluation harnesses using Python, Kotlin (Spring Boot), and TypeScript (React/Next.js).
- Bridge the gap between engineering and product by sitting on customer calls and running rapid user testing sessions to shape the product roadmap.
- Craft intuitive user interfaces that translate complex AI-driven data structures into clear, actionable dashboards.
- Take full operational responsibility for the health and performance of your shipped code in our production environment.
- Build, test, and benchmark our proprietary AI agents against expert human baselines to ensure enterprise-grade accuracy.
Candidate profile
Who this is a fit for
- Built and shipped production software for 3-6 years, preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth startup environments.
- Possess hands-on experience building agentic systems or complex LLM workflows (including side projects) with a focus on tools and evaluations.
- Develop daily using AI-native coding workflows and tools like Cursor and Claude to ship code faster.
- Maintain strong full-stack capabilities across Kotlin (JVM), TypeScript, and Python.
- Bring a sharp eye for UI/UX design and a deep empathy for the end-user's experience.
- Based in Europe, ready to work hybrid in Berlin, with fluent English (German is a strong plus).
Culture
What it's like to work here
A highly collaborative, fast-moving team of 11 working hybrid in Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg). They make rapid, low-friction decisions at the whiteboard, avoiding long meetings and politics. Small sub-teams of 2 to 3 engineers build and deploy continuously. Social connection is highly valued, with the team regularly sharing lunches and spending time together. Every engineer takes complete operational ownership of their shipped code in production.
What you get
The offer
- High-ownership product culture where you deploy continuously in highly agile sub-teams of 2-3 engineers.
- Zero corporate bureaucracy or endless alignment meetings, favoring quick decisions made at the whiteboard.
- Strong social connection with a close-knit team of 11 that values shared lunches and building real relationships.
- True hybrid autonomy with a beautiful, collaborative office space based in Berlin's vibrant Prenzlauer Berg.
Skills
Full-stack engineering (3-6 years) · Kotlin or other JVM languages · TypeScript / React · Python · Generative AI development / agentic systems / LLM workflows · GenAI-native coding workflow (e.g. Cursor, Claude) · German language skills · B2B SaaS or startup experience · UI/UX design taste
A quick note
This probably isn't for you if:
- You want a pure specifications-to-code role. You will need to talk to customers, design UI, and actively shape what you build.
- You prefer a fully remote or highly structured corporate environment. We thrive on low-friction, high-trust, hybrid whiteboard sessions.
- You are not comfortable using AI tools. We build GenAI products and use AI tools daily to supercharge our own engineering speed.
