Full-Stack × AI Agents × Harness Engineering

We are a fast-growing, remote-first AI startup building the next generation of AI-native recruiting and workforce productivity agents. We are looking for an elite full-stack engineer who understands that code is increasingly a generated artifact, and that the real job is engineering the spec, the harness, and the validation.

Overview

Why this role matters

We are building specialized AI agents that execute client work directly over Slack and email, alongside our AI-native recruiting engine. We are hiring now to bring on a highly autonomous engineer who can design the core quality infrastructure, prompt assembly, and tool loops needed to make these autonomous agent workflows production-grade. Without you, we cannot scale the reliability, evaluation networks, and guardrails necessary for our agents to operate flawlessly in high-stakes client environments.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

You will own the end-to-end feature delivery across our TypeScript/Node API, Python agent runtime, and Next.js frontend.

  • Build and harden complex agent workflows with humans in the loop to handle real-world failure modes.
  • Design and implement robust quality infrastructure, including automated LLM evals and guardrails.
  • Create custom CLI tooling, prompt assembly pipelines, and sophisticated context layers.
  • Integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) and design advanced tool-calling loops beneath the API layer.
  • Ship production-ready features directly to users, verifying your work in weekly founder-led demos.

Candidate profile

Who this is a fit for

  • Have 5+ years of production experience across TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
  • Shipped at least one production LLM-powered system to real users.
  • Possess deep CLI fluency and conceptual understanding of underlying tool-calling mechanics.
  • Communicate directly and proactively, thriving in a highly autonomous, zero-hand-holding environment.
  • Care deeply about protecting flow state, preferring async coordination over endless meetings.

Culture

What it's like to work here

Decisions are fast and founder-led, with high autonomy once aligned on the direction. The team is async-first and meeting-light, protecting flow state like revenue. Standard rituals include weekly demos to founders where built features must work, and PRs gate on automated reviews rather than committee-style alignment. It is a highly autonomous environment that demands proactive problem-solving and direct, clear communication.

What you get

The offer

  • Extreme operational autonomy with a fast, founder-led decision-making process.
  • A highly focused, meeting-light culture where flow state is protected like revenue.
  • Clean development pipelines where PRs gate on automated reviews, not committee alignment.
  • The opportunity to work at the absolute bleeding edge of agentic AI runtime engineering.

Skills

TypeScript · Python · Next.js · Node.js · LLM Application Development (Evals / Guardrails) · Prompt Engineering · Tool Calling · MCP (Model Context Protocol) · Custom CLI tooling

A quick note

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You are a junior developer, bootcamp graduate, or struggle to operate independently across the entire stack.
  • You require heavy project management, structured hand-holding, or committee-style alignment to ship code.
  • You prefer highly structured corporate hierarchies and find weekly working-feature demos stressful.
