AI Strategist (m/f/d)

Enterprise AI requires strategic clarity, not generic transformation roadmaps. We bridge high-level corporate ambition with production-grade machine learning execution across global industries.

Overview

Why this role matters

Most enterprises know AI will redefine their sector, but lack the strategic and technical sparring needed to identify high-ROI opportunities and shape viable initiatives. Embedded in our 5-person AI Strategy practice at the Berlin AI Campus, you will lead the strategic frontend—steering pre-sales, structuring complex AI engagements, and aligning executive ambition with technical reality.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

Overall ownership of strategic AI advisory, pre-sales shaping, and high-impact machine learning use case roadmaps.

  • Lead executive-level AI strategy engagements, defining high-impact ML use cases and measurable business outcomes.
  • Drive commercial pipeline growth in partnership with the Growth team through pre-sales leadership and tailored proposal shaping.
  • Act as the strategic sparring partner between client C-level leadership and internal machine learning engineering teams.
  • Advance our AI Strategy practice by evolving proprietary advisory frameworks, tooling, and AI maturity models.
  • Author high-signal thought leadership and represent our strategic AI perspective across industry forums and client networks.

Candidate profile

Who this is a fit for

  • 2+ years in management consulting, strategic advisory, or high-growth tech environments.
  • Solid practical grasp of modern ML architectures, capabilities, and business viability.
  • Track record of steering C-level conversations, pre-sales pitches, and strategic client roadmaps.
  • Background in quantitative or business disciplines (MBA, Computer Science, Data Science, or Analytics).
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English at a professional level (C1+).

Culture

What it's like to work here

An entrepreneurial, high-ownership environment with flat hierarchies, a culture of rapid iteration, and open 360-degree feedback across the company. Weekly and monthly AI innovation events on campus with flexible working hours and strong peer support.

A quick note

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You see yourself primarily as an operational change manager or internal process coordinator.
  • You lack practical curiosity and technical understanding of modern machine learning models and feasibility.
  • You prefer delivering static corporate slide decks without driving strategic pre-sales and commercial impact.
